The Ascension Seton Dental Clinic serves the critical and urgent dental needs of impoverished people. Now known as the community’s “dental emergency room” for the poor, they have served people from meal programs, shelters and substance abuse treatment programs.

The staff members describe the clinic’s quality dental care as Dental Care That Changes Lives. With a grant from The Catholic Community Foundation-St. Anthony Fund, we have been able to support the Ascension Seton Dental Clinic’s ability to provide urgent dental pain relief to a great number of very poor people. For those who have experienced the pain of a toothache, the relief that accompanies appropriate dental care is not hard to imagine. The moment the pain is gone is, indeed, “life-changing” for these individuals who receive the help they so desperately need and The Catholic Community Foundation is happy to be a part of their good work.
