Types of Funds
Choose your fund type

Start a fund with assets of $25,000 or more, and name it to reflect your philanthropic purpose. We can help you determine the most suitable fund type:

Advised Fund

You recommend charitable organizations for grants, with the option to change recipients from year to year. Donor-advised funds may be more cost-effective than setting up a private foundation.

Designated Fund

You create a fund to benefit one or more specific charitable agencies or organizations in perpetuity.

Field of Interest Fund

You indicate a charitable area of interest, and we find grant recipients in that area.

Unrestricted Fund

You give the Foundation full discretion in awarding grants. We focus on education; leadership development; health care for the under-served in Milwaukee; and community-building to strengthen families, parishes and those suffering from poverty, discrimination and violence.

Supporting Foundation

Private foundations are welcome to become part of The Catholic Community Foundation.
